Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 has been announced. The first anime season based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga series was a huge success since its debut in 2019. The anime and its debut movie Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train has also made records. It was the first anime movie to pass the 40 billion yen milestone. It collected a total of 51.7 billion yen as of May 23 worldwide.
After the anime franchise’s success, a second season was announced at the end of Fuji TV’s broadcast premiere of Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train, with a promotional reel on Saturday.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc Plot:
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc TV Anime will adapt two arcs, The Mugen Train arc and The Entertainment District arc. The first episode of the season will be a brand new episode. It will show Rengoku setting off on his journey to the Mugen Train.
Including the first episode, a total of seven episodes will cover the plot of the movie. These episodes will add about 70 brand new animation cuts, with new background music and a trailer.
Following Mugen Train Arc, Entertainment District Arc will begin in the second cour of the anime.
Release Date Of The Demon Slayer Season Two:
Season two of the anime will start broadcasting from 10th October, starting with Mugen Train Arc. Then Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc will premier on December 5th this year with a 1-hour special.
Other Updates Regarding Season 2:
Miyuki Sawashiro is cast as Daki in the upcoming anime season. Ufotable is producing the series, and Haruo Sotozaki is directing it. Akira Matsushima has designed the characters.
Lisa has performed both the opening theme “Akeboshi” (Morning Star) as well as the ending theme “Shirogane” (Silver) for the Mugen Train Arc. As for the Entertainment District Arc, Aimer has performed both of them. “Zankyō Sanka” (Song of Reverberation being the opening, while the ending theme is “Asa ga Kuru” (Daybreak).
Both Funimation and Crunchyroll confirmed that they would stream both the arcs of Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 outside Asia.
